HARDWARIO Posts Record Profit of CZK 15.9 Million for January to August 2026
HARDWARIO a.s. (BCPP, START Market, symbol HWIO.PR), a Czech technology company specializing in the Industrial Internet of Things (IoT), generated revenue of CZK 82.05 million and pre-tax profit of CZK 15.93 million in the first eight months of 2026. This is the best result for this period in the company’s history: revenue grew 8% year on year and profit increased roughly tenfold. The company also reports an order for the next generation of the GrainLink system, a change in the management of its US subsidiary and the subsidiary’s relocation to Silicon Valley, and the sale of shares announced by former shareholder eMan a.s.
January to August 2026: Profit Outpaces Revenue
| CZK million | 1–8/2026 | 1–8/2025 | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Revenue | 82.05 | 76.02 | +7.9% |
| Pre-tax profit | 15.93 | 1.58 | 10.1× |
| Pre-tax profit / revenue | 19.4% | 2.1% | +17.3 pp |
For every CZK 100 of revenue, the company generated about CZK 19 of pre-tax profit this year, against about CZK 2 in the same period last year. The improvement in profitability was driven mainly by contract development and manufacturing engagements. The profit includes no operating subsidies and no capitalized development costs.
The figures for January to August 2026 and 2025 are preliminary and unaudited, and are based on the management accounts of HARDWARIO a.s. (excluding subsidiaries) under Czech accounting standards.
“Last year we showed that we can grow; this year we are showing that we can make money. This year’s profit rests on orders and products that are actually running. We are reinvesting the money we earn into our own products and into sales abroad.”
— Pavel Hübner, Board Chair of HARDWARIO
2026 Outlook and GrainLink Deliveries
The company confirms its 2026 revenue outlook of CZK 110 million, published on July 8, 2026.
In its July press release, the company stated that it expected a further order and delivery of 500 CHESTER GrainLink systems in the third quarter of 2026, with revenue exceeding CZK 5.5 million. This series production is moving to 2027. Instead, the partner GrainLink has ordered the development of the system’s next generation, comprising four new platforms including prototypes and a pre-production run, with a total value of USD 198,800, which largely offsets the revenue shortfall. The cooperation with the partner thus continues successfully.
eMan a.s. Sells Its Stake in HARDWARIO
In an announcement about its general meeting published on September 11, 2026, eMan a.s. stated that between May and August 2026 it gradually sold, at a profit, its entire stake in HARDWARIO a.s. and no longer holds any of its shares. HARDWARIO was not a party to these transactions, was not informed of them in advance and learned of them from that announcement.
eMan’s announcement refers to an 11% stake. eMan acquired it in February 2022, before HARDWARIO’s stock exchange listing; after the new shares issued in the IPO, the stake corresponded to 1,100,000 shares, i.e. 7.67% of the share capital (14,349,000 shares).
The sale took place during a period in which HWIO shares showed increased trading volume and higher price volatility. On the START Market, with its lower liquidity, the gradual sale of a larger block of shares can move the price significantly. In the company’s view, the shareholder’s exit has no impact on its operations, orders or strategy.
Board Chair Pavel Hübner has not sold any of his shares and remains the majority shareholder with a stake of 53.58% (7,688,000 shares).
Amir Fuhrmann to Lead the US and UK Subsidiaries, HARDWARIO LLC Moves to Silicon Valley
The Board of Directors of HARDWARIO has decided to gradually relocate its subsidiary HARDWARIO LLC from Houston, Texas, to Silicon Valley, California. Amir Fuhrmann, who lives in California and already leads the UK subsidiary HARDWARIO LTD, becomes its Managing Director. He replaces Jose Lazaro, whom the company thanks for his work.
Silicon Valley is one of the world’s centers of the semiconductor industry and IoT. A local presence is to bring HARDWARIO closer to technology partners and customers in North America, where the company supplies, among other things, GrainLink systems for grain storage monitoring in Canada and the USA.
