CHESTER Energy is a low-power Modbus device for wireless electricity, water, or gas meter monitoring. It sends data via NB-IoT, LTE-M, or LoRaWAN. It runs on a battery for years or with external power.

In plastics production, conveyors are often used for granulation, where the granulate is transferred through a pipe directly from the hopper. In this case, a scale can be placed under the hopper and monitored to see precisely how the material in the hopper is decreasing.
