EMBER
Your own LoRaWAN network on your site, under your control
EMBER is an IP67 LoRaWAN gateway for a site that needs its own network. It carries hundreds of devices and sends their data over LTE or Ethernet to a network server that you run or we run for you.
What it is
A gateway, a network server and the services around them
- Radio
- A Semtech SX1302 concentrator on eight channels at 868 or 915 MHz, classes A and C.
- Backhaul
- LTE Cat 4 with 3G and 2G fallback, or Gigabit Ethernet; power at 24 V or over PoE.
- Network server
- ChirpStack or The Things Stack, on your own server or run by us as a service.
- Services
- We can add the SIM for LTE and secure remote access over OpenVPN, if you want them.
What it carries

One EMBER covers a factory or a campus, and you add gateways as the site grows.

- 868 or 915 MHz
- A LoRaWAN card for the European band or for 915 MHz.
- With or without LTE
- An LTE modem where there is no cable, Ethernet where there is.
- With a SIM card
- An Onomondo SIM for the LTE backhaul, if you want one.
