CHESTER Radon is a configurable Radon detector with wireless connectivity (NB-IoT/LTE-M/LoRaWAN). It provides accurate measurement of radon concentration in the air, which is key to ensuring a safe environment.
Applications: Radon monitoring in residential buildings, radon control in workplaces, schools, etc
Radon is a radioactive gas that seeps into buildings from the ground and can accumulate to dangerous levels, especially in enclosed spaces. Long-term exposure increases the risk of lung cancer. That’s why monitoring and reducing radon levels is critical for health and safety.
Radon measurements are provided by the Radon Probe from the Czech manufacturer PIKETRONIC. It features a precision semiconductor photodetector and a robust, wall-mountable design. Communication with CHESTER runs over the RS485 bus, allowing up to 32 devices to be connected for large-scale monitoring.
Thanks to the HARDWARIO CHESTER platform, transferring data to the cloud is easy. The values can then be readily displayed on a dashboard, where alarms can trigger if the radon level exceeds the predefined threshold.
Our catalog applications are made to be set up simply and quickly. After you choose your application and get your package, just install CHESTER in the desired location, register it to our cloud and you will get the data to your dashboard that is created based on the selected application.
